hello, i have searching for a sound box (if it's the right word?) HDMI Multi-Channel PCM 5.1 7.1 Surround Audio Decoder. i want 7.1 audio from my laptop, soo will this work? hdmi to the sound box to 7.1.

if specification is true then yes - it should work however amount of codecs i limited - perhaps comparable cheap AV amplifier (slim size) can be used but if you happy with listed codecs then it should be fine

Based on description it have HDMI input, HDMI output, and set of analog/digital audio outputs and based on description it can decode various Dolby audio compressions. You can connect source by HDMI and audio from HDMI input will be decoded and available on analog/digital audio outputs - if this is what are you searching for then this product should be OK.
