  1. Whenever i Play my Office Videos with vobsub, the video gets struck at some time. The Video plays well when the subtitle is of srt type. It happens only when i convert these subtitles to vobsub using SubtitleCreator. Why does this happen? All other Vobsubs play well, only those which i create have the problem.

Maybe there's something wrong with the VobSubs created by SubtitleCreator? Maybe open them in SubResynch (comes included in the VobSub package) and then resave them without doing anything. That sometimes works to fix screwy VobSubs. No promises though.

Or use a different player? Have you already tried with a different player? Which one are you using?

  5. You couldn't open them in either VobSub Configure or SubResynch? Then there's definitely something wrong with them. I don't create VobSubs using SubtitleCreator so I have no idea what, if anything, you did wrong.

Is there any reason you need VobSubs for this, since you say SRTs work fine? If you're wanting to define a style (font, size, color, etc), then maybe convert them to SSA or ASS format instead.

  6. i wasn't that clear... the subresync program itself did not open. I tried it using the above Vobsub links. My DVD Player is Philips DVP 66** VERSION. And the size text from .srt subtitles are very small, so i used .sub. And it looks better with .sub/.idx. So, you got the point.

Is there any other program that does the job of converting .srt to .sub/.idx?

Txt2VobSub should do the job. Never used it myself.

Thanks, neither did that work. Seems like something wrong with my DVD player, it esp. doesnt allow me to use converted subtitles.
