    I have an avi file, its 19 minutes 30.2 seconds, what frsme rate do i need to match that with the video?????

    normally you set the frame rate depending on your output.

    ie for PAL VCD/SVCD you'd set it as 25fps, and NTSC it's 29.97

    If you plan to only ever view on a PC then you can choose anything. (ie low speed for web hosted stuff or animation)
