Recently I`ve tried to setup wme again since it worked well back in 2001or so. Io need someone w win5.2600 to try &setup an audio/video broadcast and tell me it works _under windows xp. Just tried on few computers and I wasn’t able to open a locally shoutcast at 192.168.1.24:8080ip or 188.144.25.52:8080.
Wme says ok broadcast but winamp/mplayerc only resizes, and mplayer2 resizes and stops.
Thank u
Paul

	The steps for shoutcast`ing is:

 -assign ip 192.168.1.24
-check proxy is off, check firewall is off w/ netlimiter
 -restart for safety
-pick a video, I prefer ones w Jena Jamesson
 -check l3codec 1.2&3.3 is installed,xvid,divx,x264vfw video codecs, wma1954 or v3920 for audio
 -setup wmencoder7.
-it doesn’t require restart so go next:..start windows media encoder

 -open a custom encoding session
 -new
-video..browse for file.. and choose it! Ok
-display information: input fees and copyright in movie and title
-profile tab: select wm8 video should fit or video for pal (756kbps)
-edit profile for 25fps;keyframe 1sec;image quality 100; finish button
-output tab: leave 8080port and copy utl for onternet connection
-click finish ok and wme displays main window
-click start movie starts in "not supported" window

 -start ||shouting
 -shouting is trunning
-once again check 8080port is open using nelimiter or an available hacker on the internet
-open favourite mplayerc or winamp and feed internet url

-return in wme and click menu/tools/generate stream format files…
 -double click stream file
-
-on exit save session2 a common name:mysess~1.wme Last edited by Intel Core i7; 5th Jul 2012 at 18:25.
