what's the easiest way to burn .srt subtitles for an flv/.264 video file?

Hello all,

I have an flv file which I need to add subtitles to.

All the tutorials I find online, seem to be for avi videos or they talk about converting the video from flv to avi.

Following one of the tutorials I found on this site, I used FLV_extract but when the file comes out, the output file is NOT avi, but .264.

I did more googling and then it says you can use ffmpeg to extract the flv file, but after reading and reading, this seems to be complicated, at least for me.

Do you guys know of an easier way to add .srt subtitles to an flv file?
