So what are the main websites that you visit everyday? (keep it clean please).

The ones I visit everyday are (in no particular order)

    yahoo (for news and email)
    videohelp.com
    cnet.com
    g4tv.com

I have a few others that I visit less frequently. For example espn.com and 971theticket.com (local sports radio stations website). Also on occasion but infrequently the local network tv stations (the abc's and nbc's local affiliates - but not very often).

I've only recently started posting in the g4tv.com forums. They are mostly gaming related so I haven't posted much until now. However since game specific posts in off topic here on videohelp usually don't get much of a response I've shifted that over to g4tv.com.

I do tech news on cnet.com.

    How about you?

Edit - how could I forget to add youtube to the list? I'm on there a lot getting series of videos that interest me. A lot of background stuff. I just recently discovered this authors series from google. Alton Brown was on there for his Good Eats book. I think I'll check for more that i would recognize.

"Keep it clean" - that reduces the list by a few

bbc.co.uk - the good ol' beeb - for news etc.
mondo-digital.com for reviews of new 'cult' dvds

And a little site and forum, forget its name right now, which improves my knowledge of all things video related.

Is that the nickname for the bbc? Cool :

    -------------

You know grammatically speaking I think I should reedit the title of the thread. Should it read:

What are the main websites that you visit everyday?

Should I add the "that" to the title of the thread? It just seems off for some reason. I did post this late last night so I might not have been on the top of my game then.

Well this topic really took off

Yes, 'Beeb' is the nickname for the British Boobs Channel

As for your other question, the use of 'that' in your topic header, in this context, is not essential. Use of the word is discussed in this extract from Wiki:-

    "Empty complementizers

Some analyses allow for the possibility of invisible or "empty" complementizers. An empty complementizer is a hypothetical phonologically null category with a function parallel to that of visible complementizers such as that and for. Its existence in English has been proposed based on the following type of alternation:
He hopes you go ahead with the speech He hopes that you go ahead with the speech "

Now, maybe, you would wish to remove the NSFW suggestion from the list and you may get some more replies

@db83 - hmm I always thought bbc stood for British Broadcasting Company - I guess somethings are lost in translation

Yeah sometimes some threads just languish and don't get a response.

I think I want to keep it clean so it doesn't get locked

Thanks for the info on "that". Assuming that particular wiki is accurate. But you do go in this direction for ordinary daily speech so I guess it should translate to printed text.
