My brother has the somewhat rare Star Wars re-release Laserdisc set (the re-release version, not the original version) and it has an AC/3 soundtrack. I was wondering if anyone has been able to capture the sound using any kind of digital input (i.e. digital into a Soundblaster, or Hercules Game Theater XP?) I was thinking of trying to capture and burn them into DVDs, soo any suggestions would be helpful.

Is this the black/gold release? I have the THX remaster and I am taking them to SVCD right now (due to capture limitations)...like to see some clips of your DVD quality though...
