In my clubhouse we have an LG 60" TV and a LG BD player. When I play media with 6 channel audio or mono audio, the player only plays the background sounds. Voices are muted. My home player (LG) plays them without issue. However, if I convert the audio to 2 channel, AC-3, then it plays like a champ. I installed the latest firmware to no affect. I checked the output of the 5.1 audio system and speakers are at max volume. Any ideas?

if you go into the players settings menu there is most likely an audio output setting you can change to always output 2ch rather than sending the original audio. sounds like the tv there can't handle some forms of the audio being sent to it.
