Philips DVP3870K Wrong Region

Anyone know of the code or a hack program for this dvd player?

Unfortunately it looks like you found one of those rare Philips models that doesn't have a hack.

Ripping your DVDs will remove region coding, so if you don't have too many you might try ripping them and reburning them. I don't have this model so I can't say with 100% certainty but typically Philips DVD players can convert between PAL and NTSC if you have a TV that can only display one, so ripping and reburning SHOULD enable to watch your DVDs without issues.

I following the steps to unlock the region Free

1. Power ON the DVD player with no disc inside
2. Goto SETUP and go to Preferences
3. With preferences highlighted, Press NEXT CHAPTER>|,
PREVIOUS CHAPTER |<, NEXT CHAPTER>|,
PREVIOUS CHAPTER |<
4. The OSD will show the current Region Code
5. Press the Navigation Up or Navigation Down buttons to
select your desired region, or 0 for region free
6. Press OK to confirm your region selection
