In the Sunday paper (Feb 19) there is coupon for free digital voltmeter (see attached scan of ad). Coupon good until April 22. Measures up to 10 amps, volts, ma, ohms. Low ohms (less than a few ohms) is not accurate because probes touching gives about 1 ohm. No zero adjustment. Other than this, not bad for the price.

So far, for me anyway, every freebie offered by Harbor Freight has been out of stock. Maybe if you order or go to the store one minute after the ad comes out you might get your freebie.

Your mileage may vary. I've always been able to get the freebies, if not on the first visit, then on the second visit. I'm guessing these voltmeters are bought from the Chinese manufacturer for about 13.62 cents/voltmeter. It's just cheaper to give the stuff away, because the average time for the cashier to collect your money (cash/plastic) is 82.4 seconds. The labor involved for 82.4 seconds far exceeds the cost of most of the items that Harbor Freight sells.
