Ive tried a bunch of dot crawl filters to get rid of dot crawl and alot of them seem to mess my image up. Checkmate() is the only real good one Ive been able to find so far out of all the ones I tried. I just noticed one problem with it though and that is it puts a bunch of shiny dots or messes up the picture when its in very rapid movement.
here is an example.
These marks only seem to show up during rapid movement and only on the items that are moving rapidly, everything else stays fine and dot crawl is fixed very well.

Try a degrainer and some temporal smoothing. Checkmate() is neither of those.

By the way, what did it look like before CheckMate()? Can you provide a video sample?
