    Hello everybody,
    I'm new, before ripping a DVD I encode it to MPEG with several Linux tools. I've read subtitles solutions from vcdhelp, but I'd want to join subtitles(permanent method) after encode film.
    Any idea? Thank you.

    Permanent subtitles cannot be added after encoding (as they are a part of the picture). You have to add the subtitles onto your video before encoding and re-encode it!
