Hello all,
New to the forum and hope someone can help me out. I have a strange issue with my MPC-HC setup. I currently run the Combined Community Codec pack. I just installed the latest MPC-HC x64 version and reset all MPC-HC and CCC settings to default.
Setup, 22" Sceptre LCD monitor on the left side (1920x1080), 20" Dell LCD monitor on the right (1600x900)
As you can see in the two screenshots below, my two monitors appear very different. Seeing as these are screenshots, not photographs, the difference is actually in the color data, not in monitor calibration, etc. What is truly strange though can be seen in the 2nd two screenshots, where I move the playback area to overlap the two screens. This shows that both monitors are capable of displaying either form of the video. Therefore, I believe that the color change problem must be due to some kind of color profile or something which MPC applies when it's focus is in the Sceptre monitor.
Is there some mystery setting I am not aware of? This occurs in all video types I have experimented with. No color change occurs when dragging an simple PNG or JPG image between the monitors.
