    I'm sure this has been discussed several times. I'm new at this. I would like to know if there is a SIMPLE way to make menus on a vcd. I don't understand all of this yet so if someone could suggest a good simple program i would be happy.

    Nero 5.5.*.* will easily make menus from individual MPEG clips, but don't expect it to be a) pretty or b) ultimately useful.

    AntnyMD is right...look to your left and under "author" there's an easy tutorial on making menus w/Nero.
