Looking for a portable dvd Player or similar device.

Hi Everyone.

i am new to this forum.

Can someone please advise me on a good PORTABLE dvd player or similar device that can play .avi files via a memory stick.

my 2-year old daughter would like to watch movies in the back seat of our car...

i cannot find any...

play .avi files

"AVI Files" can contain several different types of video inside them. Just because your video file ends with .AVI doesn't mean much. Most players need a specific "flavor" of AVI....if not....it simply will not play it. It's possible that you will pick a player that plays NONE of those files.

A netbook might work, if someone other than the child will operate it.
