I want to encore some MKV files into WMV so I can put them on my Walkman, but I'm having trouble finding a program that can convert them properly. I need it to be able to take the soft subs from the MKV file and encode it onto the video itself, and I also need to change the resolution from 1280x720 to 320x240. I'd rather it stretch the video to fit instead of having to crop it.
Does anyone know of any programs that can do this? Thanks in advance.

Maybe freemake video converter. If it can't find the subtitle in the mkv then extract it with mkvextractgui2 and then load it.

It also seems that it can play .mp4 files as well, I wonder if that would be easier. Are there any good free .mp4 converters that can encode hard subs?
