Hi - My m2ts, ts & avi files are found when using the search term "video" in windows explorer (win7 64 bit), however mkv files and iso (movie) files are not. Is there an easy way to make window recognize those file types as video? I am so far unable to add tags to mkv files using "properties" as you would an avi or mp3 file. Thanks very much.

You usually end up with a OS hack that also allows a thumbnail

Thanks, that returned .mkv to the WFA list, but VLC still froze and WMP only displayed a black screen. I fixed VLC by reinstalling/upgrading it, and it now works perfectly. As far as WMP goes, I'm not going to mess with it, because I have never liked it much anyway.
