Hi ya all,
Just got a DViCO FusionMPEG MPEG1/2 hardware encoder (USB) [http://www.dvico.com].
So far - very happy with it, supports both MPEG1 and MPEG2 real-time hardware encoding with extremely good quality (both CBR and VBR). Presets for VCD, SVCD, DVD, etc.
PCI version supports up to 8Mb while the USB goes only up to 6Mb.
Looks like the definitive hardware (USB at least) encoder after my very bad experiences with Dazzle...
Currently a very hot sale in Asia (got it in Singapore for SIN $ 400), but haven't seen it in Europe yet...
Just curious if anyone has any experiences with it.
Tnx: The MacMan

Why didn't you get PCI? -
I use Macs @ home, but use my company PC laptop for DV capture/analog capture/encoding etc. That's why I went for the USB.
