  1. i burn a vcd and it works in the stand alone dvdplayer. the problem is it clichs and puases all the time and the there are shadows of the the frams before it. i use tmpge to convert it to mpeg and nero to burn. If you think a different converter would work better let me know.

    Also do you think it might be the disc and is there a specfic disc for making vcds thats is better than normal cdrs.

  2. Does your MPEG player properly on your PC? Does you VCD play properly on your PC?

    If they both do, then it is most likely that your stand-alone DVD player is having difficulty reading your particular brand of CD-R media.

    In these cases, all you can do is to experiment with other brands until you find one that works well. Also, CD-RW may work better on these machines as well.

    yea i agree with vitualis with the CD-Rs quality but maybe Also try Experimenting with other burners and Converters

    a goodie program for converting is VCD gear and humm buring is cdrwin its simple and no so friggin complex.
