I've seen this question asked many times, and the answer is still no. I don't think this will ever happen blu-ray structure is totally different than DVD structure hence Blu-ray menu will not work on DVD player. Best you can do is rip the video from the blu-ray menus and re-author them to be DVD compatible Mpeg-2 streams then author a dvd.
And why would one want to do this, buy a movie in highest quality available then reduce it by over half? If it's to preserve the original i would try to use BD Re-builder to shrink to BDR or better yet BD9 or BD5. Or if you need something more portable (ie laptop doesnt have a blu-ray drive) I would use Megui to convert to Xvid, mp4 or MKV each of these would be much better quality than DVD.Last edited by dragonkeeper; 10th Sep 2011 at 17:12.
