Hi there,
I just bought a Windows 2008 server VPS and want to convert my AVI files to WMV (8 or 9 either) on that
Tried many converters but none is compatible with 2008 server
The only working method is using mencoder/ffmpeg batches which they're not compatible with Silverlight and also there are single-threaded converter which takes too long while using one of many CPU cores
Windows 2008 aims to support Windows Movie maker/live movie maker but its not, or i couldn't use that
Is there any fast working converter which supports AVI to WMV (Silverlight) on Windows 2008 server?
Any idea is welcome
Bests,

server software is for a backend machine not a console, what did you expect? run the conversions on a different machine.
