  1. Hi

I have a file that contains subtitles on my computer. When I play it in Windows Media Player, subtitles do not work. When I play in VLC Player, subtitles work just fine. When I copy the file to a flash drive and plug into usb port on my LCD, no subtitles.

Is there anything I can do so that I can get the file to play through the TV with the subtitles?

    Thanks

What sort of subtitles? .srt or other? Have you tried installing VSFilter / DirectVobSub ? You may need that for displaying subs, at least with WMP.

    And welcome to our forums.

  3. Hi. Its an srt. My main concern is trying to get the file to play on my TV. So I was assuming that as long as subtitles work when played in VLC media player, the file is good. So how do I go about putting the file on a blank DVD or a flash drive to get the subtitles.

    Thanks for any more thoughts
