Hi
I have a file that contains subtitles on my computer. When I play it in Windows Media Player, subtitles do not work. When I play in VLC Player, subtitles work just fine. When I copy the file to a flash drive and plug into usb port on my LCD, no subtitles.
Is there anything I can do so that I can get the file to play through the TV with the subtitles?
Thanks
JD

What sort of subtitles? .srt or other? Have you tried installing VSFilter / DirectVobSub ? You may need that for displaying subs, at least with WMP.
And welcome to our forums. -
Hi. Its an srt. My main concern is trying to get the file to play on my TV. So I was assuming that as long as subtitles work when played in VLC media player, the file is good. So how do I go about putting the file on a blank DVD or a flash drive to get the subtitles.
Thanks for any more thoughts
