How do I author a DVD from a .m2v file? No sound necessary.

I actually just wanted to trim the first 40s from a DVD.
I demuxed it to .m2v with MPEGStreamclip and am now trying to author a DVD.
Is there an easier way to trim the 40s?

    thanks all

MpegStreamClip is the easier way to do. You just trim the part you don't want to keep and export the result (menu item "convert to mpeg" or to .m2v if you don't want to keep audio track)

    For DVD, iPad, HD, connected TV, … iMovie & FCPX? MovieConverter-Studio 3 (01/24/2015) - Handle your camcorder's videos? even in 60p or 60i? do a slow-motion? MovieCam.

I've already done this. But now I need to make a VIDEO_TS folder from this .m2v. How do I do that?

Haven't tried this myself but couldn't you just drop the m2v into iDVD?

iDVD does not like pre-encoded files (like m2v or mpg)
PS to Blotttt: there is plenty of app to do this (for free softs, you usually you have multiplexed the m2v first).
