I know this is a PC question but I assume folks in the PC forum won't know MyDVDEdit and I don't work on a PC, so I wouldn't be able to explain myself as clearly or quickly. Anyway, my set-top DVD recorder records all recordings 4:3 and I sent a DVD to a friend with a recording that was from a HD 16:9 broadcast but forgot to fix the aspect ratio in MyDVDEdit (changing from 4:3 to 16:9) when I copied the game for him. He's technically-adept but doesn't do a lot of video-related work with his computer so it would be easier for me if I could tell him which program to download and he could then Google or use the help feature on that program to see how to fix the aspect ratio on the DVD I sent him.
Given all of that, can someone recommend a freeware program for the PC that can fix aspect ratio (and perhaps even fix bad sectors) that's akin to MyDVDEdit? I don't know what version of Windows he is using but I assume it's either the latest version or the version just prior. Thanks.
