    Just called the guy today, even though the post is a month old, he still has the unit.

    He clarified and said the recorder works just fine, he just didn't understand how it worked when he bought it. He doesn't have PayPal and I couldn't get him to take a check and ship it to me in Philly, so I hope someone else can take advantage of it!
