    Hello All,

    I cant seem to get x264 to show up in my encode / transcoding option in Mpeg Streamclip on a Windows 7 machine. I do have MeGUI and Ripbot installed and can use x264 there, but I'd much prefer to use Mpeg Streamclip.

    I'm coming from a Mac workflow, where when the codec is installed it is available immediately.

    Can anyone offer a soulution or point me in the right direction to get it working?

    AFAIK,there is no integrated PC version of x264 with mpegstreamclip

    The MAC version of x264 is accessed through MOV and quicktime API (which mpegstreamclip can access) but that's useless for a PC, so no version was ever developed

    Well, that explains that. Too bad really, as my new pc is so much faster than my 3yo iMac.
