I'm currently using Flashget integrated into Firefox in conjunction with Free Download Manager to download from different file sharing sites like Hotfile and Rapidshare. I'm happy with the speed but I've noticed one thing that puzzles me. I have a premium account with Hotfile and whenever I set it up to batch download files as a Flashget selection I notice that the program will download the files without issue until it has downloaded about 1.2 to 1.4 gb and then it will download the rest of the entries as 18-19 kb files. I can't think why this is happening but that is the pattern. Is there some sort of setting I've overlooked? Any help would be appreciated.

Hotfile might have a "anti-hammering" or "leech" rule's which can cause the symptoms when using download managers.

Thanks for the response. That is entirely possible but I don't think that is the problem in this case. I won't know until I validate it this weekend with an extended download (haven't been home long enough to have the time since the post) but I believe it was due to a limitation in the number of sections allowed to download in the settings in FDM. The documentation that comes with FDM isn't exactly a stellar compilation and I'm learning, i.e. finding things out, as I go along.

Problem persisted even after I made the modifications in the sections limitations area in the configuration dialogue. I switched to Orbit downloader a few weeks ago and haven't had any further issues.
