  1. Hi guys,

I need any help, here is my problem:

I have an AVI movie with 23.976fps and its own audio track, and I got another audio track for different language, but it was extracted from an AVI 25.00fps movie.

I want to dub both audio files to the same movie. I tried and tried but got nothing, always a problem with the audio sync.

    Please please help Me.

    How to fix this???

  2. If it's a simple frame rate issue you can use VirtualDub:

    1) File -> Open Video File... select AVI
    2) Video -> Direct Stream Copy
    3) Video -> Frame Rate... Source Rate Adjustment: Change Rate to 25 fps
    4) Audio -> Audio From Another File... select audio file
    5) File -> Save as AVI.

But often the actual contents of the movies are different so that won't work.

amdsamurai--next time you post please use a more descriptive subject rather than help me,i changed the title for you this time.

You will have to re-encode the audio from the 25fps source to hopefully match the 23.976 video, use eac3to to change from 25fps to 23.976fps.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Thank you so much for your answer. It'd work 100% if i only want to keep only one audio track, but i want to keep both audio files.

Thank you for your notice, and I apologize for that.

I downloaded the app you mentioned above but it didn't open, every time I try to open it, a command window pop up for a few sec and disappear. I've downloaded "Eac3to and More GUI" but I've no idea how it works. Could you plz help me with it and explain how it works?
    OR
Can I upload the audio file for you and you do it for me please?

  5. Some containers (MKV for example) let you specify an audio stretch (per track) during playback. I don't know how reliably that works in practice.

Most audio editors allow stretching or squishing the runtime. Audacity and BeSweet are both free and have the ability.

  6. If you want to do this kind of conversion, either start reading some manuals and guides and put in some time and effort, or decide that you just don't need it done that badly.

If you can't download and run a fairly simple program, this may not be a project you should be attempting.

After about the age of 12 or so, whining doesn't accomplish very much.

Chances are very good that the two movies are edited differently such that correct audio synch will be impossible.

  7. ^Eac3to and More GUI is not that simple to use, very very confusing and a lot of time needs to just learn the GUI and so who don't have enough time, this is just rubbish

AviMux GUI allows muxing of a second audio track to an avi file.
