Want to copy text from website that has disabled right click. The website needs JavaScript to sign in and proceed to the next page. If I disable the JavaScript from IE or Firefox, I am unable to sign in or proceed to the next page by click on the Next button. If I take the screen picture by the screenshot, the rest of the page under the current screen will not be taken. Do you know how to effectively copy the text from the website that has disabled the right click by the other than disabling JavaScript method? Thank you.

It is state department of education website for students’ preparation of the test. It requires sign in by the JavaScript. If you know the other than disabling JaveScript method to copy the text from the webpage, please provide a solution.

you can allow javascript in firefox but disable some of the functions, like not allowing it to disable right clicking.

if that doesn't work then i'd print the page to pdf.

Thanks for the info, aedipuss. There is no File, Edit, Print etc in the window. So I am unable print out the text. You said the user can allow javascript in firefox but disable some of the functions, like not allowing it to disable right clicking. Where can I select to not allow it to disable right click? I did not see that option from the Advanced JavaScript Settings window you posted above. Can you tell which one should be selected?

El heggunte, the webpage is the state department of education for students’ preparation of the test. It requires log ID and password to sign in with the JaveScript. You do not have the Log ID and password. You can’t test it.

Aedipuss, content window from the tools of the firefox only provide you with the option of disabling the JavaScript. I have said early, if I disable the JavaScript, I am unable to sign in or turn the webpage. While the JavaScript is enabled, I am unable to copy the text by the right click. So I am asking whether there is other than disabling JavaScript method to copy the text from the webpage that has disabled right click.

Save the entire page as HTML.

Should be able to do that from the File menu.
Or find it in your cache.

Then open it as a text file with, eg Notepad, find your text.

Or if you know some HTML, delete the offending javascript and load the page in your browser.

All right. But I still would like to know the site to which that page belongs

While the JavaScript is enabled, I am unable to copy the text by the right click.
How about trying to copy the selected text by pressing CTRL + C

I update my posting. I got it. Unselecting all options in the Advanced JavaScript Settings will enable the right click though the pop up still displays “Do not right click.” Thanks adipuss and all of others help.

You might be able to use the "RightToClick" add-on for Firefox.
