I have a Panasonic TC-50PS14 Plasma TV and I would like to watch some British region 2/PAL DVD's. Can anyone suggest a reliable, inexpensive DVD brand/model I can hack that will play to my NTSC TV? Any info on getting this worked out would be appreciated.
Cheers,

Pretty much all the Philips DVD players (DVP 5990, 5992, 3560, etc.) can be made region free with a few button presses on the remote. And they convert PAL to NTSC reasonably well.
