Let me start off by saying that Im completely new to DVD ripping. I made my first divx rip over night last night and the quality is not that good. The resoution is 544x304. It looks good when the window is not maximized but then the movie is too small. I want to be able to see it fullscreen with minimal loss in quality. I have several divx movies that play this way. They are are sharp as the VHS movies while in fullscreen. Granted they are 1.4GB on 2 - 700mb CD's. Does anyone know where I can get a tutorial on making high res movies like that? I used Gordian Knot and followed the tutorial on doom9.org's site but like I said it looks very blocky in fullscreen. Thanks in advance.
