dvd rw

just wondering??? is it worth going out and spending the money ona dvd-rw? is my quality really gonna be that much better than an svcd or is it just advantageous cuz you can fit more data on a dvd--r? please let know your opinions!!!

I spent it when the Pioneer drive was still $799, and the media was $12 a pop.I still think it was worth it. You get better quality hands down.
