I have seen/own manufactred audio cds, where some of the audio is recorded where the counter says is a negative time between tracks. Such a thing is like the X-files tv soundtrack, where if you scan backwards from the first track, you find a whole extra song hidden there! Has anyone been able to re-create this effect? it doesn't even have to be at the beginning, I have a Machines of Loving Grace disk, with a 12 minute countdown before a track, with audio recorded during it. I think there was some of that going on on Limp Bizkit's Significant other album too.

This one is interesting.
I downloaded some mp3s and burned as a regular cd a week ago.
I noticed two tracks has negative seconds. these two tracks played for 2 secs then it skipped. I noticed LED and indicated negative seconds.
I will do further research on this tonight -
im not sure if it's nero... it may have been xcdroast in redhat linux, but i used a program once where you could adjust the countdowntime for track-at-once recordings.
i think it was nero
THIS IS HARDCORE -
yes, Nero lets you adjust the countdown seconds, but how do you get recorded audio to play during the countdown?
