My video projector is still on its first lamp, and work fine. But the Epson is old, and it has only VGA and composite video input, and do 4:3.
It is time to look for a LCD projector that do HDMI, or at least component video.
I just can't find anything else, so does it has to be another Epson again ?
Note: A few friends told me their constant replacement of color wheels in DLP projectors, so I am staying away.

What's your price range and will it be in a darkened room? (How much brightness do you need?)
Also, what's the distance to the screen/screen size?
I'm guessing you probably want 1920 X 1080 HD capability.
I've been happy with my Sony Bravia, but there are a lot of good projectors out there.
This company usually has some good info on what's available: http://www.projectorcentral.com/
