iphone 4 camcorder video playing with coreavc on atom pc -but no audio ;-(

Hi peeps, first post on here, usually find solutions for most of my probs in previous posts but im stuck with this one...

Using an iphone 4 as a family camcorder at the mow, hd quality suits me fine 90% of the time.

Problem is trying to play it back on my windows 7 media center pc to show family.

The pc is an atom 330 based pc but with nvidia ion so supports hardware accelerated hd playback. I have configured codecs for all types of hd video files i have and it plays them all fine apart from videos from the iphone 4.

I understand these are (.mov) apple quicktime H264 with aac audio

I have got the mov files to use haali media splitter which sends the video stream to coreavc and plays fine with hardware acceleration and looks fab.

But for the life of me i cant get the audio to connect to either ffdshow, coreaac or any other direct show filter.

So at the moment any videos ive taken with my phone and downloaded can only be watch without audio ;-(

spent hours looking for info on the web and tried lost track of what configs/combinations i have or haven't tried now

if anyone can give me a clue or any suggestions id be really grateful.#

really dont want to have to convert every video downloaded from the phone before we can watch them - feels like im so close to a working solution after spending ages getting the video to use coreavc and the ion's acceleration i thought id cracked it, just need the audio to play!

ment to say i can get the files to play fine with audio using media player classic with its own internal splitter, but really want to be able to view them using windows media center
