I downloaded it and now removed mmc 7.5 from system (TV option did not worked)... my O.S. is windows 2000 Pro portuguese version...

MMC 7.6 TV set (now called VIDEO IN) works great!!! TV tune muuuchhh faster.....

And I have a new option to capture (only when capture is MPEG format, not AVI, ATI VCR and WMF (YES, WMF Capture option) video cropped (no way to change the size of borders to be cropped, but its a beginning).

Sound is not good, maybe my old ATI AIW 128 Pro is good for the new MMC 7.6, but it worths!!!

Hi there,
I have an All-in-Wonder 128 and am running Windows 98. Any chance this latest version of MMC will work with my system, or will I have to make do with ver 7.1 as I have at the moment?

Also what is the VCD capture like in the latest version? Can it be compared with more specialist cards like the Provideo ones?

Finally, where can I download it? I cannot find it at the ATI site.

Any info appreciated.

Well, MMC 7.6 works on my windows 98 portuguese version, and ATI AIW 128 Pro... ( mmc 7.5 doesnt works TV)...

Its very fast, VCD capture same as mmc 7.1, but if you get the registry editor here this site you can make the file White Book Compliant...

And now you have the chance to record in VCR, MPEG, AVI & WMF...

I think I was lucky, because the links superman gave to me, onli one was available yesterday and the other now seems to be removed...

BUT, I have a website and may upload the file into it, if asked... It's an ISP in Brazil, not so fast, and file is 43 MB... quite huge for a 56 K modem upload (only 33,6 Kb uploading)... may take a couple of hours, and can be done only in weekend....

Anyone have any idea about what the quality comparison would be between AVI and WMF capture. Windows MOvie Maker does a very good job for editing and since it only saves in WMF format,... this might be a good combination. TMPGen will accept wMF input.
