    Does anyone know of freeware or cheap software that allows to set a schedule for playing video? Need it for a university on-campus tv channel. The program would be run on a windows machine.

    Most of the dedicated video scheduler programs seem to be for commercial use. $$ Windows Task Scheduler would probably work, but maybe not so easy to set up.

    But there are playlist manager programs that may do what you want.
