  1. I have an Intel Core i3 530 based PC that is dual-booted with Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. While watching videos in fullscreen in Media Player Classic - Home Cinema 1.3.2121.0, the video becomes very sluggish on right clicking to access the right-context menu. This problem occurs only in Windows XP but not in Windows 7. The problem continues from the previous version of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack that I have installed to the current version I am using, i.e. K-Lite Codec Pack 6.2.0 Mega. What could be the reason - Intel graphics or the software itself? There is no problem in Windows Media Player or VLC. Please help.

  2. Which Intel graphics chip do you have. Intel makes the weakest graphics chips in the business. Try changing the output device in MPCHC: View -> Options -> Playback -> Output -> DirectShow Video... Exit MPCHC and restart it for the change to take effect.

  3. Thanks for your reply. I'm using the Intel HD Graphics.

Changing the output to "System Default" works. However, this uses the fddshow video subtitle renderer and the subtitling quality is poor compared to the internal subtitle renderer used with VMR-9 (renderless) etc.
