I am trying to make SVCDs using TMPGenc and burning with nero. I've made lots of VCDs and XVCDs, so I know the basic procedure. When I play the SVCD, my TV shows the video for a split second (but only in the upper left corner of the screen), and then there's nothing but sound.
I think the problem is the video size. I follow the instructions on the cvdhelp's convert page except for the resolution. I changed it to 608 x 352 (the res. of the original video) because the preview looks "squished" if I leave it at 480x480.
Does SVCD have to be 480x480? If it does, how do I make the preview look like it's the right size?
Thanks
