    Hi, I need to cut an AVI file. It's a piece of a movie, I need only 5 minutes of it.
    I've visited the Edit How To, where the VirtualDub tool is mentioned, but it always crashes when I select the AVI File to start the process.
    Any other tool available ?

    try avidemux. if it crashes use mediainfo on the file and copy/paste the results from it's text mode here.
