I dusted off my old ati tv wonder from storage, this is the older conexant chipset version. I used to capture video all the time with it and was preparing to capture some more now. I grabbed the latest ati driver and installed ati MMC. I run the program, and there is no pvr tab or saetting. I went into ati help and clicked on "how to capture" and it merely says gotot hthe pvr tab and configure compression etc, and click the record button. I see no such record button. Is somethngi messed up here?
I have not tried any other capture software yet because this just happened. Not been able yet to find a free capture program, I dont want to pay 40$ ++ for some software for this relic of a card but I would like to use to to capture some super nintendo game footage. Is this normal behavior that some driver update disables capture? Or Something is meessed up?
For the record, it is winxp SP3.

VirtualDub is free and might work with the AIW. It works with my ATI TV Wonder 650 USB2.
What OS are you running? 32 bit or 64 bit? -
32 Bit XP. I am very experienced with using virtualdub for capture, but the needed VFW wrapper I cannot seem to locate, and even worse poeple are saying that it wont work in xp. I did find this virtualvcr from doom9's guide, I will check that out next as it is free and it is a WDM application.
