  1. I tried to use this program to create chapters and menus and everything worked great until it came time to burn the bin/cue. For some reason, fireburner does not recognise the bin/cue thus I can't burn. But my main question is that I was going to try and use the burning program TSCV has but it doesn't recognise my LiteOn 24x burner. Any suggestions on what I can do to burn this svcd? I haven't tried CDRWIN yet but I will later today. Just wondering if there's anything I'm doing wrong. I did follow Sefy's guide (which was great, thanks for that Sefy!!) but trying to burn it doesn't work.

  2. Hi there, glad to hear you like the guide, as for your question, you can use the CDRDao in the Tools of TSCV to burn instead of FireBurner (i hate that program!), and just make sure you select generic-mmc from the list.

You can also burn Cue/Bin using: CDRWin (as you know), any CDRDao GUI, and BlindWrite Suite.

You could also try using XDuplicator as a GUI for CDRDAO. When TSCV didn't see my Mitsumi drive XDuplicator worked fine. This is freeware that can be downloaded here:

  5. You have a number of solutions to burning a Cue/Bin file, try one of these if you still unable to burn using VCDEasy or TSCV:
    BlindWrite Suite
    CDRWin
    FireBurner

Nero is also supposed to support Cue/Bin, but In past versions it had big problem burning it correctly and once you get burned, well

  6. I too am using TSCV and Liteon 24x to burn VCDs. I use TSCV to create the bin/cue files. Then, I use NERO 5572 to burn CD. Very easy and painless process. NERO fully supports my Liteon 24x and correctly supports SmartBurn.

  7. The reason me (and some others as well) don't recommand using Nero for burning Cue/Bin, is because of past experience with incorrect burnings done by it, if it works for you, i'm glad to hear it!
