Hi Everyone-
I have to let you all know this is my first forum discussion so bear with me if i ask a dumb question, thanks. i just moved back to America from overseas, and i have several dvd's that are region 2. I just bought the philips dvp 3570/F7 dvd player and i was hoping someone could help me to reset the region code. I see there is some info for the 3570/H, and it says to push the HDD button on the remote. My remote doesn't have that key, but let me say that i am blonde, so maybe i am missing something
Can anyone help? Thanks Much! Groetjes!!!![]()

There is a hack suggested by AcKebab here:
https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/philips-dvdr3570h/8841
AcKebab's hack suggests that you do not need to highlight the HDD (hard disk drive).
Note that the 3570/H that you reference is a DVD recorder and the 3570/F7 is not. Also, the 3570/H has the letters DVDR in front of it instead of DVP. There's a very good chance that the hardware is completely different from your model. That will most likely keep the hack from working. Also, there is some small chance that attempting to apply the 3570/H hack to the 3570/F7 will brick it. I don't think that's likely to happen, but you have to want the hack bad enough to risk ruining the player to do it.
I am just giving you information and I do not encourage you to try this hack.
