converting .wmv to .flv

I am trying to convert wmv to flv format for display on a website. I tried several convertors, and found one that I like called iWisoft Free Video Converter. I worked beautifully. Then after deciding that this is the one I would like to keep, I uninstalled the others. Now I am not able to edit or preview the wmv file in iWisoft.

I since downloaded and install another convertor called Aimersoft Video Converter. It looks very similar, except it is a 30 day trial. With this program I am able to preview and edit the wmv before converting it. However I am still unable to do it with iWisoft.

What am I missing with iWisoft, this is the program that I would like to use. I have completing uninstalled it, cleaned my registry, and reinstalled it but still not able to edit the files.

I've never used those two but you might look into format factory. It can convert to flv. It is free to try and works very well.
