Please help ! I recently mistakenly fiddled around with what programme was associated with BUP, TS and VOB files now Image Burn wont burn to DVD. I was converting AVI to VOB using DVD Flick then burning using Image burn with no problems. Now when I look in the folder my VIDEO_TS BUP and VTS_01_0 BUP files are associated with VLC the remaining files are associated with Media Player Classic, can anyone help solve this.
    Regards

you can right click on a file and select open with, select what you want from one of the lists and check the "always" box. or you might check in the settings for imgburn - tools settings registry to see if they have been changed there.

  3. File associations only determine what program is started when you double click on a file. They don't have anything to do with whether or not ImageBurn to burn DVDs. You can still start ImageBurn, select the files or folders, and burn.

Thank you for your replies, but I am not sure what programme to select to open these files I have tried Windows media player, classic media player and VLC and clicked the 'always' button but image burn will still not complete the burn. this problem has only started since I started changing file associations, I have access to another computer and the bup files are opening using windows shell DLL. Please consider my limited knowledge if answering. Always been my problem 'a little knowledge is dangerous lol'
    Thanking you in advance

  5. Once again, you don't need any file associations for ImgBurn to complete a burn. Just start ImgBurn, add the VIDEO_TS folder, and burn. If your burn doesn't complete it has nothing to do with file associations.
