    I have some MKV files that I whould love to convert to Zune Hd 720p MP4 files so I cna play them on the go .

    What is the best convert /method of doing this .

    xmedia recode has presets for the zune that work fine.

    Best: Megui, handbrake, xmedia recode or staxrip where you can adjust all settings.

    Be careful though. Some older versions of those software suites might not have zune hd settings. They may be rigged with wmv 320x240 settings for the older zune models.

    I have a zune 30gb (older model non hd) and I use 320x240 wmv for it.

    I am not sure what the max value the Zune hd can handle.

    I would consult the zune website for the max resolution of the zune and target for that.
