I have some old, analog Hi8 tapes which I would like to digitize. I found a used camcorder, Canon MVX460, which supports analog-to-digital conversion.
So, I want to connect my old Sony CCD-TRV67E to the Canon MVX460 and the Canon to my computer through Firewire. Problem is, that my Sony is a PAL camcorder and the Canon is NTSC. Is this important with regard to "pass-through"?
Any advice would be appreciated.
