I am considering a new cell phone with internet package. The Droid. I understand there is a 5G bandwidth limit per month. I have read about this bandwidth thing for weeks and still dont understand what I am reading. I am one of the few still using dial up at home. My parents have DSL, and I am addicted to youtube, when I have the opportunity to use theirs. I have no interest in downloading movies or music, yet. Am I likely to go over the 5G limit if I were to watch an hour or two of youtube each day for a month ?

GuestGuestProbably, but I stream Pandora all day at work and stay under 5GB on my unlimited Sprint data plan. Some browsing to boot.

Go with AT&T and get an iPhone. Network package is unlimited. Heck, sometimes I use my iphone as a modem.

I have some friends who have the Droid and they like it, but still - I stand by the iPhone. I love it.

Well, the unlimited plan for AT&T used to be true up to a few weeks ago. Sadly AT&T has moved away from an unlimited plan, but the data plans are cheaper. The plan is 200MB (yes MB) for $15.00/month or 2GB for $25.00/month.

I just bought an iphone a few weeks ago and really like it and would recommend it. The big disappointment to me was when I found it didn't support Flash player, that means no Hulu and also other websites that support flash. Apple probably won't be supporting Flash anytime soon. I don't know if the android supports flash.

It does play some youtube videos. Apparently, some youtube videos are in Flash, so I doubt you could play those. I really don't know enough about this to say and if this is what you want most would recommend you research it.
