Where is everybody? 99 votes and no responses????

    I play mainly console games. I have a 360, ps3 and a Wii.

I also have a DS Lite and a PSP (1000 fat model).

I do mostly console games but some older pc games for nostalgia - the ones that I can get to work on xp and vista that is (the old win9x games era).

I'm mostly action but some rpg. I just recently picked up 3d dot game heroes for the ps3 and love it. Its a perfect mix of zelda and a touch of dragon warriors in it too. I also have God of War 3 that is truly amazing.

I even did the Halo Reach multiplayer beta when it was out. That was a fun experience. I like the JET PACK!

Maybe 4-5 times a year, consoles.
Maybe 10-20 times a year, some silly little web Flash game.
Maybe 1-2 times per year, my trusty Neo Geo pocket, Atari Lynx or Sega Game Gear on a road trip.

Aside from that, I'd rather be outside to have fun.

Working indoors too much as it is.

I'll never understand why people play video games. To me it is a pointless waste of time. I remember all the video arcades I used to see in the 1970-80"s and they made a little sense as gathering points to socalize with other people.

Yes I play... Various solitaire games, Hearts, Mahjong Titans, and Minesweeper. Tetris was my favorite, but don't have it on my present PCs.

PC games. I like the 'Hidden Object' or mystery games. I don't really like the 'first person shooter' action games. (Because I usually get killed in the first thirty seconds, then lose interest and never play it again.

I've been a flight sim (and other sims) geek since Bruce Artwick's version 1.0 in the early 80's. I've even developed detail scenery and modified aircraft. I've also played through most submarine sims.

With nitro on that ... more time please

Between IT work, house work and farming, there can be never enough time ... got to have time for sleep, lol

In the corner, xbox, xbox360, ps1, ps2, nintendo, atari ... and at last count over 600 pc games ... a collection Id say.

Yes. Now and then I succumb, and take my fake train out for a drive (Trainz 2010); lately I've been poking around Myst.

The good thing about Flight Sims is you can multi-task. I often fly my sim plane on a side computer while working on the main computer and also monitor news/stocks on a TV. Console games need your full attention.

As for farming, I imagine a GPS autopilot on the combine while wirelessly surfing or flight simming in the A/C cab

    Are you talking about multiplayer?

    Try the single player campaigns.

Also try hybrid shooters like Uncharted 1 and 2. They are shooters but it is such a well written series and the controls work so well you can't wait to get to the next scene to continue the story.

    -------------------------------------------

    Here's another idea:

    Try playing on EASY mode.

Yep I read that article in Game Informer and tempted me to try the easy mode on some games I don't keep playing.

BUT I do usually slug through at least normal mode on the big ones
