Typically when I record using my Hauppauge 150 with the WinTV2000 software the video playback is smooth, and then I pause playback which drops the resources nearly to zero, a trick I learned here at Videohelp from a fellow poster. But lately I have noticed jerky playback, and when I look to see in systems resources tool to see what program is hogging some resources which would result in something like this, it will show WinTV2000 or some similar name using various amounts of resources 17 percent up to 46 percent or highter, even when I have paused the playback. This is not a typical situation, but it is rather worrisome. I was wondering if anyone has an answer to this problem. The files seem to fine, when I stop recording. Playback is smooth, when I am not recording, unless another program is using a huge amount of resources. This is only happening occasionly, but I find it worrisome. Thanks in advance for any help you can be in this matter.
